Full Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE –

The HR Coordinator is responsible for assisting the HR team with safety records, recruiting, employee record-keeping, and payroll processing. Some of their administrative duties include keeping up to date with safety protocols, maintaining training records, and assisting with medical leave tracking.

SALARY RATE –

Salary: $29 / hour

IDEAL CANDIDATE –

Ability to manage competing priority in a fast paced environment.

Proficient in using HRIS software and other relevant tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience managing timecard exceptions

Strong attention to details in managing HR records, documentation and data entry.

Previous experience creating company communication Memos, Flyers, etc (CANVA experience a +)

Supports Payroll and the HR team department.

Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development in the HR field

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

Manages employee electronic & HRIS files

Monitor medical leave requests and communication to ensure compliance.

Manages timecard exceptions

Assist managing tracks and maintains employee training records in HRIS system

Maintain safety training meetings and records in company data base and HRIS system

Facilitate communication with employees through the maintenance of HRIS system, bulletin boards, frequently updated electronic postings (i.e., television monitors), and other resources available.

Assist with the organization of company events and recognition programs

Supports recruitment efforts as needed

Manages general administrative responsibilities and support to the Payroll and Human Resources department

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –

1-2 years of experience supporting an HR department

Experience managing date using excel and spreadsheets

Previous experience curating company-wide communication in various platforms

Strong knowledge and working experience with Human Resources Information Systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
