POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Admin reports to HR Generalist and is responsible for providing HR administrative support to HR management and team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide HR administrative support to HR team members.
- Organize, compile, and update company personnel records and documentation.
- Keep and update HR databases information such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacation, and non-paid days off, etc.
- Hourly Recruitment: Setup onsite and online interviews and follows up with candidates until they are hired
- Perform other administrative duties as required such as update Overhead Tracker for invoices to share with finance team member, file maintenance, answering employee inquiries, etc.
- Create access badge for employees/visitors.
- Provide assistance in employee events and various HR projects.
- Assist with managing and storing paperwork for HR Policies and Procedures.
- May assist with data entry into HRIS system, benefits, and time and attendance employee assistance.
- Create and maintain HR reports for HR team members as requested.
- Assist with creation of new employee orientation folders and onboarding.
- Support HR General Affair’s activities, including office administration, employee amenities, vendor coordination, office supplies, and uniforms/PPE coordination and employee welfare support.
- Support EHS objectives by issuing PPE to employees as required
- Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 1yr minimum experience as an Administrative Assistant.
- Experience working as an Administrative Assistant in Manufacturing Automotive industry, preferred.
- Strong MS-Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related computer software skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, and work in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, people orientated, good attendance, and work ethic.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Primarily office work environment with plant floor visits as necessary.
• Exposure to certain noise levels and bright lights when visiting plant floor.
• Required to wear company-issued personal protective equipment such as safety glasses when visiting the plant floor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Ability to stay focused for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
POSITION TYPE/ EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- Fulltime, Dayshift
