Salary Target is ~85-100k+
San Diego, CA 92121 (Miramar) – fully onsite

Experience Managing a team
Speaks Spanish
Valid CA Driver’s license and able to travel ~10% of the time; travel is primarily to the North County warehouse and to training/seminars.
Desired:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or a related field;
Master’s degree is a plus
SPHR, PHR, SHRM CP, or other HR certifications
Ability to:

Profile / Summary / Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional with generalist experience. They show moderate to high level of competency inemployee benefits, employee relations, employment law and compliance, employee life cycle management, recruitment, workers comp and insurance, and they are true champion for culture. This position works closely with the VP of Administration to maintain the organization’s human resources policies, programs, and practices. This position, in tandem with the VP is responsible for all Human Resources functions including employee compensation, benefits, recruitment, personnel policies, andregulatory compliance.
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; and educating candidates on the job requirements, working conditions, opportunities forpromotion, and company benefits.
Supports management by providing human resource advice, counsel, and decisions regarding employee and labor policies such as ADA, FMLA, and OSHA.
Responsible for employee relations disputes, internal investigations, and performance improvement plans.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Researchcompetitive salaryand benefit information. Identifies benchmark jobs and conducts salary surveys.
Designs, implements, and adjusts pay ranges. Educates managers on pay guidelines.
Conducts job evaluations; prepares pay budgets; monitors and schedules individual pay actions; recommends, plans, and implements pay structure revisions.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employee…
