Full Job Description
RiverLand Federal Credit Union is seeking anDocument Imaging Specialistto join our team. This position will be located at our Main Office at 639 Loyola Ave New Orleans, LA 70113 and will work Monday- Friday, a standard 40-hours work week.
The Imaging Specialist will manage the importing and filing of data in the credit union’s imaging system, ensuring that documents are filed correctly and in a timely manner.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Collects loan and other account-related documents either physically or digitally and indexes them into the credit union’s Imaging system.
Reviews daily filing of reports from core system to ensure they are filed properly and in a timely manner in the credit union’s imaging system.
Sorts, separates or combines files to organize them and make sure the proper data is stored. Use a physical scanner to scan any non-digital files.
Report suspicious activity to Supervisor and/or Compliance department. Required to complete annual in-services to include critically identified areas: BSA, Compliance, Security and Workplace Conduct. Follows all Credit Union policies and procedures, and performs all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
1 year of similar or related experience. Previous experience within a financial institution is preferred.
A high school education or GED.
Other:
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Must be willing to submit to and pass a criminal background check.
Must be willing to submit to and pass a credit check.
Must be bondable.
