About the Role
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will work closely with our operations and project teams to support the successful delivery of projects from start to finish. Your role will involve both project coordination and administration, helping ensure jobs are set up efficiently, delivered safely, and completed on time.
You will gain exposure to:
- Project delivery and coordination
- Scheduling and procurement
- Site documentation and reporting
- Client and subcontractor communication
- Project setup and compliance administration
- Cost tracking and general project support
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, eager to learn, and interested in developing their career within the civil construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project planning and delivery activities
- Prepare project documentation, SWMS, permits, and site paperwork
- Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, and project schedules
- Support project managers with day-to-day operations
- Track project progress and maintain accurate records
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and project administration
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements
- Help mobilise projects and ensure jobs are ready to commence on schedule
About You
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Driver’s licence
