You are functioning as a Lightweight Director Access Protocall (LDAP) Administrator.
Hence, you acknowledge that you have LDAP knowledge or at least have Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) equivalent knowledge. You are also expected to have experience with OS side administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Solaris.
Work Arrangement:
EMEA Hours 08:00 – 17:00 (UTC +01:00) or Malaysia Hours from 3:00PM – 12:00AM. You may need to support on-call and out of hours support.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deploy all Solaris application servers in production based on the defined processes
- Active maintenance and updating of productive systems
- Ensure 2nd and 3rd level support for the responsible IT systems
- Analyze and correct incidents and problems (cancelations, cross-country skiers, vulnerabilities etc.)
- Implement changes and releases in the responsible area
- Documentation of the systems used (Asset Database)
- Technical support of production operations
- Troubleshooting, problem investigation, monitoring and performance analysis and optimization
- Disaster recovery as well as security management planning
- Continuous optimization suggestions for Engineering of efficient, process-technical concepts
- Customer consulting and support with regard to the services responsible for
- Ensuring internal and external requirements, in particular with regard to regulatory, reporting, compliance and audit, within the scope of the issues under responsibility and using best practices
- Operation, maintenance and maintenance of the infrastructure as well as providing powerful support for relevant systems, data maintenance, reporting and authorization management
- Adherence to security standards and ensure stable operation with respect to products, services processes and systems
- On-call and out of hours support when necessary
- Effective teamwork and proactive communication with internal customers
Skills Qualifications & Requirements:
- Good Oracle Unified Directory knowledge. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) knowledge level expected.
- Good LDAP knowledge, experience in using LDAP tools, LDIF, LDAP hierarchy, schema management, management of LDAP objects
- Good knowledge of LDAP master – slave replication, high availability and disaster recovery concepts
- Good knowledge of Kerberos, Single-Sign-On, secure authentication methods
- Good knowledge of Unix permissions, Role Based Access Control as well as general Identity and Access Management concepts
- Experience with OS side administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Solaris
- General Cloud Technology Knowledge.
- Familiarity with Python, Perl, shell programming, Solaris and Red Hat packaging
- Good knowledge of Ansible (automation platform, playbooks, API connections)
- Deploy/maintain all LDAP servers based on the defined processes
- Handle and eliminate the deficiencies identified from the health checks performed
- Middleware components (Tivoli, Backup, Nessus…)
- Security topics (SIEM, Security Patching, PAM)
- OS and LDAP Monitoring
- Programming of scripts and batch runs for the automation of the system sequence
- Experience accompanying server migration projects
