QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School diploma.
2.Two (2) years clerical experience
3. Demonstrated skills in use of office machines, efficiency in office management, and knowledge of business English, spelling and arithmetic
4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs.
REPORTS TO Supervisor of Secondary Education
JOB GOALS To provide support for the Academics Team
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Elementary
Creates and tracks purchase orders for elementary school instructional purchases as needed
Assists with book orders, reservations, and accommodations for conferences, as needed
Secondary
Creates and tracks purchase orders for secondary school instructional purchases as needed
Assists with book orders, reservations, and accommodations for conferences, as needed
Special Education
Creates and tracks purchase orders for special education instructional purchases as needed
Assists with records, book orders, reservations, and accommodations for conferences, as needed
Professional Development and Events
Assists with set up for trainings and meetings as needed, including purchase orders
Bookkeeping
Assists school personnel with purchase orders, as needed
Additional Duties
Serves as a communication representative for the academics team
Assists with kindergarten registration and compiles registration folders and communications related to Kindergarten registration
Assists with academics competitions, including annual Spelling Bee
Compiles and report donations for annual United Way campaign
Orders and processes new textbooks
Serves as front office receptionist in the absence of AOB receptionist
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Schools or Director of Academics
