Position Overview:
As a Legal Assistant, you will support our attorneys in managing Workers’ Compensation defense files. This role requires energy, adaptability, and a willingness to learn. We provide training for individuals with office or administrative experience who are looking to grow their careers in the legal field.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision.
Maintain trial and discovery calendars and coordinate key events.
Assist attorneys with litigation tasks, including dictation, scheduling, electronic filing, and case file management.
Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior legal experience is a plus, but we are open to training individuals with administrative or office experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Experience in Aderant Sierra software a plus.
High School Diploma required.
