They are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This direct hire role involves supporting attorneys in managing complex litigation cases from discovery through trial preparation.
What you’ll do:
- Collect, organize, and manage client documents and electronic data for litigation
- Conduct civil, criminal, and litigation background checks and obtain verified records
- Draft legal documents including motions, answers, discovery responses, deposition notices, affidavits, and settlement agreements
- Assist attorneys with summary judgment motions, citations, exhibits, and appendices
- Prepare documents for production with Bates labeling and redaction of confidential info
- Support trial preparation, including managing exhibits, witness lists, subpoenas, and evidentiary materials
- Conduct legal research using firm resources and electronic databases
- Balance multiple case deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
What you need to succeed:
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Labor & employment litigation background required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with document review platforms and eDiscovery tools
- Familiarity with Relativity and/or Everlaw preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent multitasking and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
