What we are looking for
Role: Mainframe Storage Admin
Experience Range: 7 to 15 Years
Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Mumbai
Must Have:
- z14/z15/z16 Mainframe HW and Sysplex Setup,
- Hands-on experience with Hitachi VSP 5500, IBM DS8000, IBM TS7000, EMC-VMAX/PowerMax & DLm HW
- Mainframe Tools – OMEGAMON, TEPS, Netview, SIEM
- IODF/IOCDS, HCD/HCM, Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning
Good to Have:
- Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills.
- Experience in Mainframe MIPS Optimization, Software rationalization
- SMP/E, various ISV products, UserMods and Exits
Essential:
- Experience to monitor, support and maintain mainframe DASD tools
- Monitor and manage storage performance
- Assign and initialize direct access storage volumes.
- Design, implement, and maintain all DASD pooling structures
Minimum Qualification:
- 15 years of full-time education
- Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
