Appalachian Blind & Closet Co. has been the premier design studio for window coverings and home organization for 25 years. We seek an Administrative Assistant & Social Media Manager who values longevity and desires to grow with the company. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, a friendly and energetic demeanor, ability to multi-tasking, meticulous attention to detail, and contribute to our positive work culture.
Duties
· Manage the Company’s social media accounts
· Field incoming phone calls.
· Educate clients via phone and in the showroom about the Company’s services and products.
· Schedule in-home design consultations
· Provide administrative support for designers
· Advice clients on the design process
Requirements
· A general understanding of social media and content creation
· Experience working in an administrative and/or customer service role
· Working knowledge of common computer software suites
· Basic understanding of cloud-based systems such as Dropbox
· Ability to complete complex administrative tasks with a high level of efficiency and autonomy
