Job Summary
Kamdar Sdn Bhd is looking for a proactive and organized Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning product assortment, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring products are available to meet customer demand. Successful candidates will be assigned to a department based on their experience, skills, and interview performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor inventory levels for your assigned department.
- Coordinate stock replenishment with stores and the warehouse.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend stock replenishment or markdowns.
- Ensure products are displayed according to company merchandising standards.
- Monitor fast-selling and slow-moving items.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal departments on product availability.
- Prepare merchandising and sales reports.
- Assist with seasonal launches, promotions, and new product introductions.
- Conduct store visits when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- Experience in merchandising or retail is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
