DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you serve as a technical expert to the Construction Facilities Maintenance Officer, the Real Property Accountable Officer, and the Deputy of the Office of Facilities and Engineering. You are responsible for the management, coordination, and administration of the planning resource for the Infrastructure Development and Evaluation Program and the Comprehensive Facilities Inventory and Support Plan. In addition, you serve as the responsible party for all real property functions, and as subject matter expert and manage the complete lifecycle of each asset as required by the Construction Facilities Maintenance Officer.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to five (5) days biweekly. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three (3) months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.

Additional Requirements:
You must pass a favorable National Crime Information Center (NCIC) screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap.
You must be able to obtain and maintain both state and federal access to facilities and databases.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualification (not required):
Full-time moderately complex clerical experience
