Typical Work Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday or as needed
Job Summary: Under general supervision, this position performs Boundary County motor vehicle and licensing operations, which include receiving revenues and making daily deposits to the Boundary County Auditor.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Continuing education as required and provided by ITD and IDPR.
Must be bondable and able to develop extensive knowledge and skill with multiple computer systems and financial programs.
Must be able to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets as well as navigate multiple computer systems and financial programs.
Must have excellent phone and customer service skills.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with general accounting or money handling is preferred.
Special Considerations: This position requires the employee to be able to stand at the counter assisting customers for several hours daily with minimal breaks. The ITD and IDPR programs require frequent and lengthy phone calls to tech support. Serving impatient and irritable customers is a daily routine with high stress levels.
