What you will do:
Oversee the administration of the abandoned mine land (AML) program federal grants (develop narrative, budget and create applications, complete quarterly and annual program reports, ensure grant requirements are satisfied and program is in compliance with federal grant regulations).
Serve as the primary point of contact with the US Department of Interior, Office of Surface Mining for AML grants.
Direct and oversee the AML program contracting section and supervise staff.
Maintain updated procedures and manuals for the AML program.
Support the Mine Subsidence Insurance Governing Board and the Ohio Fair Plan.
The Natural Resources areas of specialty for this position are Geology, Hydrology, Environmental Science or related field.
Starting hourly pay of $32.51/hour with multiple pay increases over your first 8 years of service and an ending hourly pay of $46.25/hour.
