ABOUT BGI GROUP
BGI Group is a Darwin-based specialist contractor delivering Concrete Remediation & Repair, UHP Water jetting, Polyurea & Surface Protection, Industrial Coatings and Waterproofing to Tier 1 contractors, NT Government, and Defence clients. Holding ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, we operate to the highest standards in some of the Territory's most demanding environments.
We're in an active growth phase — and we need the right person behind the scenes to help us scale.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, office-based role supporting our operations and business development functions. You'll be the organisational backbone of a fast-moving team — keeping things on track, well-documented, and running smoothly day to day.
It's a genuine opportunity to grow with a business that's going places, not just fill a seat.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Managing inboxes, correspondence, and scheduling across the team
Supporting document control — project files, contracts, compliance records, purchase orders
Assisting with accounts administration in Xero (invoicing, purchase orders, reconciliations)
Coordinating between field teams, project managers, and external stakeholders
Maintaining our job management system (AroFlo) with accurate project and client data
General office management — supplies, systems, and keeping things organised
Supporting the BDM with proposals, capability documents, and BD admin as needed
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in an administration role — construction or project-based environments highly regarded
Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is a strong advantage
High attention to detail with a systematic approach to document management
Strong communicator — professional, clear, and reliable
Self-starter who can prioritise competing tasks without constant direction
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, trade-based environment
WHY BGI?
Darwin-based, full-time role with a stable and growing company
Work directly alongside leadership in a business that values your contribution
Real scope to grow as we scale from 10 to 20+ staff over the next 12–18 months
ISO-certified, professional environment with Tier 1 and Defence clientele
Salary commensurate with experience
