Job Summary
This posting may be used to fill multiple vacancies.
This position serves as a receptionist providing information and assistance to employees and applicants and provides clerical assistant and support. This position will have access to confidential bargaining information.
This position is required to come into the office multiple times per week.
Teleworking employees are required to live in Minnesota or in a state bordering Minnesota.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Customer service skills sufficient to provide courteous, effective service to customers via phone and in person.
Communication skills using sensitivity and confidentiality to evaluate internal and external customer needs.
Ability to develop effective working relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and internal and external customers.
Math skills sufficient to add, subtract, and calculate percentages accurately.
Ability to identify and address multiple priorities, work under pressure, and be flexible with changing priorities and frequent interruptions and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft office suite (Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
One year of prior experience performing clerical duties and/or working in a Human Resources office.
Degree in Human Resources or related program.
Experience working with employer provided insurance and retirement plans
Knowledge of and/or experience applying state and federal employment laws, rules, personnel policies, procedures, and State of Minnesota bargaining agreements.
Knowledge of Minnesota Data Privacy Act.
Physical Requirements
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer up to 25 pounds.
Additional Requirements

All individual income tax filing and payment obligations must be current prior to interviewing for this position.
