Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Jones Environmental. This role is vital to our operations, supporting daily front-office activities and providing administrative assistance across various teams. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and dedicated to helping our company run smoothly while upholding our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative qualifications are a plus.
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with environmental industry terminology and practices is a bonus but not required.

Job Descriptions

Front Desk Management: Greet visitors, manage front desk operations, and handle incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Vendor Coordination: Organize vendor contacts, manage orders, track purchase orders, and ensure timely deliveries.
Courier and Shipping Support: Assist in scheduling and coordinating couriers and other shipping logistics for both outgoing and incoming shipments.
Sample Receiving: Oversee the receipt and organization of samples, ensuring they are documented accurately and passed along to the relevant team members.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
Calendar & Meeting Management: Help schedule meetings, manage conference room bookings, and coordinate team schedules as needed.
Other Receptionist Duties: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, assist with document preparation, maintain a clean and welcoming front office environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
