*** This is an on-site position located in Downtown Winston Salem, NC. The compensation for this position starts at $22.00 per hour, with the final hourly rate determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Summary:

The Office Administrator will oversee and facilitate the daily administrative operations of our corporate office to ensure all operations and business processes are successfully executed. This position serves as a resource to corporate staff by providing the necessary support to work efficiently, contributing to overall productivity of various teams. The organizational efficiency of our Office Administrator is crucial to providing a positive work environment and driving sustainable growth within the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Promote the mission of Javara with a primary guiding principle of patient safety and well-being and building and maintaining a culture that combines the highest standard of integrity with excellence to all those Javara serves.

Responsible for general office administration and management to oversee day-to-day operational needs

Coordinates details of onsite and conferences including catering needs.

Manages calendars for conference room availability.

Collects, complies, and prepares meetings agendas and other documents; establishes, organizes and maintains files.

Provides basic support to executive assistants to handle temporary work overloads and fill in for temporary absences.

Maintains inventory and restocks various office supplies and snacks/drinks.

Manage main company phone and direct/transfer to the appropriate person or department.

Receives and organizes all delivered mail and manages needs for outgoing mail/shipping needs.

Manage building and parking access (parking validation, company badges, etc.)

Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.

Receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

Qualifications:

Required

High school/secondary school graduate or professional certification.

Minimum 3 years prior experience as an office administrator, office assistant or similar role

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong time-management and organizational skills

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).

Ability and willingness to learn new software systems.

Willingness to jump in to complete tasks, sometimes with little to no notice.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

2-year Associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2+ years in an administrative type role.

Experience in supporting Senior Management or Executive level is strongly preferred.

Administrative experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
