Administrative Assistant Job Description

We are looking for an administrative assistant to support departments including accounting, sales and operations as well as filing, answering phones and general office duties.
* Bi-Lingual Spanish/English speaking is highly preferred.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). We will train for a long-term position with our great community business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Entering and processing orders and documents through our software systems (including QuickBooks)
Entering data into data base as needed.
Scheduling transportation for incoming/outgoing orders.
Assisting other colleagues with administrative duties as described by your manager.
Help in providing excellent customer service.
Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, filing, and other duties as defined by your manager.
Answer and direct phone calls.
Keen attention to detail.
Problem solving and basic trouble shooting skills.
Work closely with department heads.

Requirements:

Accounting Experience preferred AR & AP.
Preferred experience with QuickBooks but we will train.
Bi-lingual is preferred.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good with time management skills.
The ability to work well without constant supervision.
Maintain a positive attitude & business conduct.

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and ability

High school or equivalent

Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
