Full Job Description
Office Assistant
Duties:
– Perform general office tasks such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and responding to emails.
– Maintain office supplies and inventory.
– Assist with data entry and record keeping.
– Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
– Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
– Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
-We are a Metal Recycling facility. Must be able to do basic math and work under some stress as sometimes we get many customers at once.
-Dispatching is a plus
Skills:
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phone systems.
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
– Previous experience as an office assistant or personal assistant is preferred.
