Job Title: Office Staff – AutoSmart Chevrolet, Hampler, Ohio
Position Overview:AutoSmart Chevrolet in Hampler, Ohio is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Staff member. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to title processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, customer service, and other administrative functions essential to the smooth operation of our dealership. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations and ensuring efficient communication within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Title Processing:
Manage and process vehicle title transfers and registrations in compliance with state regulations.
Ensure accurate documentation for all vehicle transactions.
Accounts Payable:
Process and reconcile vendor invoices and expenses.
Maintain organized records of payables and assist with resolving discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable:
Generate and send customer invoices.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Reconcile payments and update financial records.
Payroll:
Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Maintain employee payroll records and address payroll-related inquiries.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
General Administrative Tasks:
Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and document management.
Assist in maintaining organized and efficient office operations.
Industry-Specific Responsibilities:
Stay informed about industry trends and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of administrative processes with dealership operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in office administration, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
Knowledge of title processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll procedures.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
