Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Duties:

– Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing, and data entry

– Assist with order entry and inventory management

– Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members

– Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information

– Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

– Assist with event planning and coordination

– Provide support to the office manager in various administrative tasks

– Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness

– Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary

Requirements:

– Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred

– Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

– Knowledge of dental office procedures is a plus

– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities

– Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
