Busy optometric/medical practice that is growing quickly, in need of employee who is able to expand duties as needed. Candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills (in person and over the phone), pleasant demeanor, professional appearance and a positive, can do attitude. Duties include, but not limited to: Insurance verification, filing, phones, scheduling, patient referral coordination, reception. Excellent computer skills as well as a desire to learn new things in a quickly changing environment also required. Applicant must be very attentive to detail, be able to resume task focus after disruption, and have a good command of the English language both written and verbally. Applicant should be organized and confident. A strong desire to learn new things will enhance job satisfaction. Continuing education opportunities available. Experience desired, however, will train the right candidate. MA certification is required for position, but employer will reimburse costs after 90 days in good standing.
