Compensation: $16.00 – $18.50 per hour.

Work Hours are: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm EST

American Substance Abuse Professionals (ASAP) is an established company since 1997. We provide customized drug-free workplace programs for companies seeking to improve workplace safety, minimize healthcare costs, increase employee retention and reduce worker’s compensation claims. ASAP offers Substance Abuse Profession (SAP), Substance Abuse Expert (SAE), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) evaluation services to all employers with drug and alcohol policies. ASAP specializes in working with companies regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT), the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), state mandated, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies offering self-referral and second chance programs.

Opportunity:

We are seeking a tech savvy, motivated, detail-oriented individual, with exceptional organizational skills. The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support to individuals who have completed the complex process of returning to work after a positive drug and/or alcohol test. This role is largely organizational and requires a high volume of computerized documentation. The position is entirely remote, fast paced and requires a private and professional work environment. No travel required.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitoring continuing care recommendations.
Scheduling follow-up drug/alcohol testing in coordination with the client.
Maintaining detailed documentation of all activities.
Providing reports on a regular basis.
Offering consultation on compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.
Working in a team environment with other departments to ensure timely service for the clients.
Developing and maintaining positive and supportive relationships with employees and clients.
Participating in conference calls with employees and the client management team.
Must be tech savvy and able to multi-task by typing and talking when communicating with clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
Handling heavy call volume of inbound and outbound
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly evolving work environment.
Works well with others, accepts feedback positively, and work well under pressure.
Tech savvy with strong Microsoft and Excel skills preferred.

Work Environment:

This position is a remote position that performs work from the assigned home location. The job requires dedicated and uninterrupted time identical to the conditions of working in an office environment. Occasionally the remote position located in the state of Maryland may report to the corporate office to attend meetings or team functions, depending on the geographical location to the corporate office. The content of information received and communicated contains confidential information, including PHI. While performing the duties of this job, it is the responsibility of this position to make all efforts to secure the clients confidentiality and always protect clients PHI information. The remote worker must abide by the Remote Work Policy.

Physical Requirements:

Be stationary in a sitting position for extended hours at a time, 7-8 hours of the work day.

Perform repetitive tasks with few breaks throughout the day.

Repetitive typing and communicating.

Hold desk phone/cell phone.
