Barden is delighted to be partnering with a rapidly scaling SME in the construction/manufacturing sector to find an Office & Finance Administrator for their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has moved from start-up to strong growth in a short period of time, with ambitious plans to continue that trajectory. The successful person will play a central role in supporting daily operations, becoming the go-to person in the office, working closely with the business owner across admin, payroll/finance, and day-to-day operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • End-to-end weekly payroll processing
  • Management of time, attendance, annual leave and absences
  • Bookkeeping support using Sage or similar systems
  • Central administrative support across the business
  • Supporting procurement and supplier coordination
  • General office operations and day-to-day problem solving

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Proven payroll experience (essential)
  • Exposure to Sage or similar accounting systems
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently in a small team
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable – someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing Irish SME at a key point in its journey. You'll have genuine impact across the business, close collaboration with an experienced external bookkeeper during transition, and strong potential for development as the company expands.

Full-time, on-site with flexible start and finish times, located just 20–30 minutes west of Cork City.
