Position Summary:
The Office Services Associate – Retail Store (Maison Key Holder) is responsible for independently opening and overseeing the daily operations of the Maison boutique. This high-responsibility role requires a proactive and professional individual who can manage boutique readiness, client service, inventory, and facility upkeep with minimal supervision. As a keyholder, this associate sets the tone for the day and ensures smooth execution of retail operations, events, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Access & Security:
Independently open the boutique each day and maintain store security during setup.
Lock the store during solo entry to ensure asset protection and compliance.
Daily Operations & Setup:
Power on and inspect essential systems (lighting, music, elevator, etc.).
Ensure the boutique is clean, welcoming, and client-ready prior to business hours.
Maintain a polished and brand-aligned store environment throughout the day.
Management Communication & Scheduling:
Communicate daily with the Store Director or Manager to review priorities and operational updates.
Assist with shift coverage and availability visibility to support scheduling needs.
Client Service & Brand Representation:
Deliver exceptional, brand-aligned service as the sole associate on the floor.
Represent the company with warmth, professionalism, and product knowledge.
Serve as a knowledgeable and approachable presence for clients throughout the day.
Inventory Management:
Monitor, restock, and manage supply levels to ensure smooth boutique operations.
Identify cost-effective solutions for operational sourcing needs.
Track supply usage and manage small-scale procurement responsibilities to avoid shortages or overstock.
Event & After-Hours Support:
Prepare the boutique for events, supporting setup and execution as needed.
Remain on-site and uphold brand standards during after-hours events and VIP functions.
Facility Oversight:
Observe and report facility maintenance needs promptly to management.
Collaborate with teammates to maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation of the boutique.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
1–3 years of experience in a retail or hospitality environment preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable learning new systems and managing multiple priorities.
Professional appearance and ability to represent the brand with integrity.
