Since 1956, our practice has focused on designing timeless, beautiful, sustainable architecture. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented part-time administrative and accounting assistant.
This position at FFA means joining a collaborative team that strives for creative solutions and operational excellence. You will excel at FFA if you can support day-to-day operations by covering a range of responsibilities, including office administration, accounting support, and project coordination, working directly with the Finance and Technology Directors.

Applicant Requirements
Two years of professional experience in an office environment or at least two years of higher education completed, for those actively pursuing a four-year degree
Hold a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to local sites (a personal vehicle is not required)
Commitment to working in the office five days/week. The agreed-upon part-time schedule will remain consistent week to week. FFA reserves the right to change this policy.

Flexibility and adaptability to different assignments
Commitment to confidentiality
The preferred candidate has experience working for a design or professional services firm
Additional Qualifications
The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. The preferred candidate is familiar with accounting software(s), and Ajera experience is valued but not required.
Typical responsibilities for this role include
Recording incoming invoices
Review and record credit card and reimbursement expense reports
Prepare payments for approval
Welcome in-office guests and answer direct phone and email inquiries
Coordinate mail and deliveries
Schedule catered lunch delivery and travel logistics
Assist with meeting and event setup
Maintain office supply inventory

Compensation
At FFA, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows your compensation to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $27 and $30 per hour and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and years of experience. This is an hourly, part-time position.
