Brian Biesman, MD, is an Aesthetic and Oculofacial Plastic Surgery practice located near Vanderbilt University. We have been providing exceptional care to our aesthetic and surgical patients for over 20 years. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our team. The Patient Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This role involves coordinating appointments, providing information about our services, and supporting patients throughout their journey with our office.
Responsibilities:
o Patient Interaction:
Create an outstanding patient experience as the first point of contact both in person and by phone for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about clinic services and products.
Schedule appointments and consultations, ensuring efficient utilization of office resources.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with patients to enhance their overall experience.
o Administrative Support:
Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate paperwork and documentation related to patient consultations and treatments.
Collaborate with the administrative team to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
o Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with administrative, clinical and research team members to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to patient care.
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient-related matters and enhance overall service quality.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a patient coordination role, preferably in a plastic surgery, dermatology, aesthetics or a Medspa environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
Knowledge of aesthetic or medical spa treatments and procedures is a plus.
Proficient in using scheduling EMR and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Additional certifications or training in healthcare administration or customer service is beneficial.
