Lambs Farm has several businesses that operate to provide jobs and training for people with developmental disabilities. This unique role provides you with the opportunity to learn about various retail operations, pet adoptions, food production, and have the potential to help out in all areas.
We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist who will work primarily in the Country Store & Bakery and Pet Center at Lambs Farm. This position requires flexible daytime hours and must be able to work weekends. We have part-time or full-time availability.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Retail experience a plus
Must have basic knowledge about dogs and cats and supplies needed for their proper care
Ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills and be very personable and energetic
Must be able to work independently
Ability to stand for long periods of time and must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Responsibilities
Assisting with animal care such as feeding, cleaning, and socializing
Answering phone calls and interacting with customers
Working the register
Assist with animal adoption process
Maintain overall cleanliness and neatness of production and store areas
Provide training and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities
Provide support during special events as needed
All other duties as assigned
