We’re seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team.
How you’ll make us better:
Responsible for delivering a positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well as state dental laws, rules, and regulations under the general direction and supervision of an Orthodontist.
Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under the general supervision of the Orthodontist
Performs bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets
Reviews patient charts, logs appropriate patient data, and transcribes doctor notes
Performs laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist
Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow
Manages the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responds to direct patient messages, and triages notifications
Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment and operatory following standard protocols
Assists in Local Store Marketing and community events
Adheres to all infection-control policies and protocols
Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to listen and understand information verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
Prerequisites for success:
Ability to build rapport with patients
Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules, and multi-task
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to work chair-side independently under the general supervision of an Orthodontist
Ability to perform all clinical duties and appointments self-sufficiently under the general supervision of an Orthodontist
Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board
Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
CPR certification if required by state Dental Board
