RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL ASSISTANT:
- The Payroll Assistant will process company’s payroll (weekly and semi-monthly)
- Maintain employee records, including assisting with employee benefits
- The Payroll Assistant will answer general inquiries regarding pay or benefits
- Responsible for data entry, filing, and reports.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED FOR THE PAYROLL ASSISTANT ROLE:
- Understanding of timekeeping and payroll
- The Payroll Assistant will possess strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer skills/Excellent data entry
- Flexible to help with administrative task
- The Payroll Assistant will create spreadsheets in Excel and use basic formulas
