About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist cum Office Administrator to join our Kuala Lumpur team. You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and ensuring the smooth, efficient day-to-day operations of our local office.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & HR Administration:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely salary payouts.
- Utilize Darwinbox HR software to maintain employee databases, leave management, and benefits.
- Monitor and verify web-based timesheets, ensuring accurate attendance and overtime tracking.
- Extract and prepare payroll-related reports to share with regional management.
Office Administration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for general office inquiries and facility management.
- Handle office supplies inventory, vendor management, and routine clerical duties.
- Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires and coordinate meeting schedules.
System Operations & Data Management:
- Use Epicor to support finance and general ERP operational tasks.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction, creating customized HR/payroll reports, and database troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in payroll processing, HR operations, and office administration in Malaysia.
Tech Stack Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with Darwinbox (or similar modern HCM systems).
- Competency in extracting and managing data using SQL.
- Experience working with web-based timesheet and attendance systems.
- Familiarity with Epicor ERP system is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong numerical ability, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
Language: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu
