Job Description: Personal Assistant to the Vice President of Business Development, DexaFit

Location:Boston, Massachusetts
Position Type:Full-Time, In-Person
Direct Report:Hamza Masaeed, Vice President of Business Development, DexaFit & Owner of Two DexaFit Locations in Massachusetts

Overview:

DexaFit is on the forefront of health and fitness technology, offering state-of-the-art services to help individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, and versatile Personal Assistant to support the Vice President of Business Development for DexaFit, Hamza Masaeed. This role is crucial in facilitating the smooth operation of our business development efforts and the day-to-day management of our two Massachusetts locations, as well as the VP role to advance DexaFit nationally and internationally, with currently more than 50+ locations

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements to ensure efficient time management.

Communication:Handle correspondence, manage emails, and ensure timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Project Assistance:Support various business development projects, from initial planning stages through to implementation, monitoring progress, and reporting on outcomes.

Office Management:Assist with daily office tasks, including but not limited to, document preparation, filing, and maintaining office supplies.

Client Engagement:Act as a point of contact for clients visiting the Boston location, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

Creative Contributions:Bring forward innovative ideas to improve business processes, client engagement strategies, and overall brand presence.

Event Planning:Assist in the organization and execution of corporate events, promotional activities, and community engagement initiatives.

Ad-hoc Tasks:Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President to support the broader business, or personal, objectives.

Requirements:

Experience:1+ years of experience in an administrative or personal assistant role, preferably within the health, wellness, or fitness industry.

Skills:

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Google sheets, Google Docs, and familiarity with scheduling software.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.

Creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building.

Physical Requirements:Ability to work in-person at the office of Hamza Masaeed and assist with physical tasks around the office and events as needed.
