Role Description The Principal is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Port Harcourt, responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative operations of Florence Memorial College. The Principal will provide strategic direction, ensure effective implementation of the curriculum, and maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and student support. Daily responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating academic schedules, monitoring classroom instruction, and ensuring compliance with relevant educational regulations and policies. In addition, the Principal will oversee student discipline and welfare, maintain productive relationships with parents and guardians, lead school improvement initiatives, support professional development for staff, and promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3-5years proven experience in an educational institution.
- Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills.
