SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Director of Academic Affairs and Business Development, the Program Manager of MFT@Northwestern provides critical operational, administrative, and business

leadership

to the MFT@NU program. This position involves management and oversight of core administrative processes related to student academic progress, in compliance with policies and procedures of The Family Institute, Northwestern University, and the Department; is engaged in a variety of activities related to program data, faculty support, coordination with 2U, on admissions, orientation, course scheduling immersion, and graduation.

This individual provides day-to-day operational management, support, judgment, and troubleshooting of issues for MFT position requires a

collaborative

and supportive relationship with faculty and working with a cross-functional team of professionals.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide operational, administrative, and business

leadership

of MFT@NU administrative and operational procedures to ensure the smooth functioning and ongoing success of the digital campus.

• Serve as liaison for managing communications within the online branch and between faculty, staff, students, NU, 2U, TFI, and other entities relaying information and decisions between faculty and 2U admissions, curriculum, and student support teams; serve as the voice of the program to students, sharing program updates, event information, and answering queries; is the main program point of contact with TGS systems such as course scheduling, registrar’s office, and student services.

Work with data to answer programmatic and business problems by utilizing data analytic tools to analyze data and change existing or create new reports and dashboards from scratch.

Work independently on a variable schedule to provide operational and administrative support in managing the ongoing success of the program.

Work incollaborationwith administrators and faculty to ensure the quality of student experience of the courses and clinical training adheres to the mission, policy, procedures, and standards of the MFT program and accreditation body (COAMFTE).

Respond promptly and help troubleshoot program matters when contacted by faculty, students, 2U partners, and the Department Chair.

Manage the administration of the quarterly admissions and interview process by collaborating with the 2U Admissions Team (including weekly meetings), managing the paper review process for faculty, entering review and admissions decisions into Sales Force, scheduling and running interviews, scheduling faculty participation in interviews, creating interview reports for the Department Chair to review.

Liaise with TGS Admissions, Registration, and Financial Aid staff to ensure admitted students are matriculated, registered, and placed on the correct track.

Oversee course iterations based on quarterly faculty surveys (manage the faculty survey process) through liaison with the 2U Faculty Support team. Manage changes to syllabi, readings, and other changes by liaising with faculty and 2U team members to ensure changes to courses are carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
