Job description
The ideal candidate for this position must have medical office experience in an administrative role. More than 5 years of experience is required.
The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
The administrative staff supports the operation of an extremely busy office. Daily duties will include scheduling patients, checking patients in for appointments, communicating with referral sources, and answering incoming calls as well as clerical duties— to include copying, faxing, e-mailing, scanning, and filing documents. All of these duties must be performed in a time-efficient manner. Excellent communication skills must be exhibited via phone and in person. The administrative assistant must also present a professional image in both voice and appearance.
The Senior Administrative role will be trained in all normal aspects of administrative duties for our office and will eventually be assigned more advanced administrative duties at the discretion of and in collaboration with the management team and Clinical Director.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Scheduling patients.
Checking patients in and out for appointments
Answering phone calls.
Filing, typing, copying, scanning documents related to patient care
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Supports the OPCA team with a professional approach to all business needs.
Ensures proper operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, and maintaining equipment inventory.
Maintains office supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
