Project Support & Administration Officer Job in Sutherland Shire NSW at Sutherland Shire Council –

Things We’ll Trust You With:
Providing administration and project support to the Environmental Science team to implement the environmental and sustainability components of the Sutherland Shire Community Strategic Plan.

Possess sound critical thinking skills, identifying opportunities and innovative solutions and implementing system improvements that contribute to business efficiency.

Using your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate respectfully and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Things You’ll Do:
Coordination of meetings, events, workshops, site visits, preparation of agendas and minute taking.

Monitor budgets and coordinate purchasing and procurement requirements.

Prepare written correspondence, presentations and various reports, including written briefs for contractors.

Undertake scientific support duties, including research and collection of environmental data.

Oversee website and IT functions including maintaining web and social media pages and manage records and databases.

Package: $65,456 – $69,384 gross p.a. plus superannuation (paid pro rata to hours worked)

Hours of work: Permanent Part Time, 28 hours per week. Spread of hours and days are flexible.
