Rise manages a unique portfolio of properties housing tenants participating in programs such as ‘The Independent Living Program’ for people living with mental health or coming from the Department of Justice. Our mission is to support clients to continue living independently, whilst meeting their program requirements and obligations of their lease agreement to succeed in their tenancy journey.

This isn’t your run-of-the-mill property role. At Rise, the Property Officer (aka Senior Administrator – Property) blends tenancy management with heart. It’s the perfect role for someone with community services experience or someone ready to take their property skills into a more meaningful space.

🕐 The Details

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible start and finish times!)
  • Fixed-term until 25th September 2026 (possibility to apply for other roles within Rise)
  • Based in Middle Swan with metro travel as needed
  • Once you’re settled in (and WHS-approved), hybrid work options are on the table

🛠️ What You'll Be Doing

  • Juggling your property portfolio like a pro, handling tenant chats, inspections, repairs, and lease management
  • Working with tenants to answer queries and give additional support whilst handling sensitive situations with care
  • Teaming up with Support Workers, Case Managers, representatives from the Department of Justice and other programs to plan and solve problems
  • Championing tenant wellbeing through a friendly, client-focused & trauma-informed approach
  • Reviewing rent, managing payments, and tackling arrears sensitively whilst keeping leases inline and up to date
  • Administration duties including, digging into data to create insightful reports and organising/maintaining files

🎯 What You Bring

  • Experience working in Property Management (highly regarded)
  • Top-notch administration skills including ability to whip up an excel spreadsheet, merge docs in Word, craft letters/reports, manage emails and navigate databases with ease
  • Sensitive, calm and open-minded approach with skills to adapt communication style to suit different scenarios or client needs
  • Skills in juggling competing demands whilst using initiative
  • Additional stand out’s such as experience working in a not-for-profit or with clients/tenants in a community services setting (desirable!)

Appointments to this position require an NDIS worker screening check Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
