Purchasing Analyst Intern Jobs in San Jose, CA at Cadence
Job Overview:
This role will operate within the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) Team under Procurement Operations and partner closely with key stakeholders to support projects, as necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
Review the purchasing process for indirect goods and services from sourcing contracts.
Partner with the team to expedite purchasing requests.
Ensure execution of defined purchasing requirements in line with audit 2 and 3-way match audit process.
Provide order status reporting updates weekly.
Provide general administrative support to procurement operations and sourcing teams.
Collect, edit, and provide Procurement data for financial analysis.
Understand the Global Procurement Policy collaboration and training.
Support Procurement / Contracts Projects as required.
Job Qualifications:
An interest in Procurement and Supplier Chain activities working within a team with the focus on building knowledge and experience in a global technology company.
Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in a BS/MS in Procurement/Business Administration or equivalent
General understanding of procurement, supplier chain, supplier management
Good verbal experience within a team environment
Capable of analytical thinking
Basic knowledge of policies, procedures, and technology
Understanding of ERP systems. i.e., SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Workday etc.
Good working knowledge of MS office suite including Teams, OneDrive, and Webex programs
Can commit to at least a 12-week internship
Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internship
