Position: Â Radiology Patient Services Rep. – F/T Nights – Radiology Cat Scanner (Ben Taub Hospital)
The Radiology Patient Services Representative is responsible for the coordination of patient throughput within multiple modalities of the Radiology department, the preparation and maintenance of patient records for treatment/procedures, and to provide reports and/or documentation needed by Radiology Administration.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: GED or High School diploma;
Work Experience (Years and Area): Experience to include Windows based computer systems. One year clerical and/or customer service experience in a health care setting;
Equipment Operated: Office equipment (Computer, fax, multiline phone, scanner);
Special Requirements:
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact);
Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports;
Other Skills: Analytical, Medical Terms, Typing (wpm 35), P.C., MS Word, MS Excel;
Advanced Education/Advance Training: Experience with Windows based computer systems to include Epic and Radiology Information System (RIS);
Work Schedule: Weekends/Flexible;
