⭐ THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a professional and well-presented Receptionist to join our Melbourne campus team. This role serves as the first point of contact for students, visitors, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-office environment.

The Receptionist plays a key role in maintaining efficient front-desk operations and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day campus activities.

⭐ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reception Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, visitors, and staff, providing professional and courteous customer service. 
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members. 
  • Maintain and monitor the reception email inbox, ensuring timely responses. 
  • Welcome visitors and ensure sign-in procedures are followed. 
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area at all times. 
  • Prepare meeting rooms and ensure office areas are presentable. 

Administrative Duties

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate courier deliveries. 
  • Maintain office supplies and manage stationery inventory. 
  • Perform general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, photocopying, binding, and archiving documents. 
  • Maintain accurate records and organise documentation as required. 
  • Assist with preparation of basic reports, letters, and documents when required. 
  • Support administrative tasks across departments as directed. 
  • Ensure office equipment and supplies are functioning and report issues when necessary. 
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings. 

⭐ QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role. 
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly manner. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Professional presentation and telephone etiquette. 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. 
  • Experience working in an education environment is highly regarded but not essential.
