OFFICE COORDINATOR JOB SUMMARY

Performs scheduling functions under direction of Patient Care Coordinators to include monthly work schedules and daily hospice visit schedules via computer software systems. Performs hospice intake processes in coordination with clinical staff and billing staff. Assists with various clerical/secretarial functions as required to meet department needs.

OFFICE COORDINGATOR JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education and/or experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Business school education or related associate’s degree preferred. Must possess Tennessee driver’s license and vehicle insurance as required by state law.

Knowledge: Requires knowledge of standard office software applications. Additional knowledge of McKesson homecare system preferred.

Skills: Must be able to operate general office and communications equipment. Excellent communication skills to include written, in-person and telephonic communications required. Requires detail-oriented organizational skills.

Abilities: Capacity to quickly learn and use new software programs needed. Requires ability to manage multiple time sensitive tasks in a self-directed manner.
