Receptionist Job in St Albans at Lah Property Marketing –
We’re looking for a well presented individual with a friendly personality, proven relevant experience with the enthusiasm to take ownership of the reception role and additional concierge responsibilities.
Being the first point of contact, – the ‘face of the building’, providing a warm and efficient welcome
Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, following appropriate processes
Ensuring the reception area always looks pristine and welcoming
Managing deliveries, including couriers and post
General administration as required
If there is any vacant space, you will support the sales and leasing agents, ensuring vacant area is looking pristine and ensure a hospitable welcome to potential new occupiers
You will also develop a good understanding of the local area and develop a local amenities information file
Managing and reporting any maintenance or building issues and keeping the off-site Building Manager informed
Managing contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance or specific repairs and keeping a progress log
You will pay particular attention to the security of the building
You will produce a weekly update report for key stakeholders
You will research and introduce (when applicable) concierge/added value initiatives – aimed at delivering a community vibe and offering activities to increase enjoyment during the working day. This may include negotiating freebies or local discounts with businesses and pop-up activity.
You will develop a newsletter (when appropriate) for tenants to communicate such initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will previously have worked in a front of house reception role or customer service, marketing or sales environment.
You will be personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service.
You will be proactive, self-motivated and willing to organise the additional concierge or added value activities as part of the reception role.
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be a competent Microsoft Office / PC systems user
You will enjoy working independently but also as part of the reception job share
