Our typical customers stay with us much longer, often twice as long as the industry average. Talented and effective Operations Support Specialists are vital to our continued success. We are actively seeking an Operations Support Specialist to ensure our customers continue to receive great service as we expand and grow.

The Operations Support Specialist works in our Operations Department. The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve issue resolution in an efficient, thoughtful, and situationally appropriate manner. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Respond to inquiries and requests via phone and email with consumers and external stakeholders promptly and professionally to achieve issue resolution; document concise notes accounts to memorialize such interactions.
Review, analyze, and calibrate communication with and from consumers and other stakeholders via audio (recorded calls) and written (i.e. letter, email, text) channels.
Ability to discern among a wide variety of matters and use judgement to apply appropriate procedural requirements.
Meet strict data entry accuracy and hygiene standards to assure adherence to regulatory standards and procedural requirements; recognize and address or elevate, as appropriate, errors and anomalies made by self and others.
Maintain timely, complete, and accurate data to facilitate reports published to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain currency of business practices and processes and related state and federal regulations.
Perform in a deadline intensive environment meeting standards for quantity, quality, and resolution timeliness.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency within the department; propose enhancements to procedural requirements as informed by business and other drivers.
Collaborate with colleagues across various departments, i, e, customer service and compliance, to support overall company objectives.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.

Qualifications:

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate upward, downward, and laterally.
Acute attention to detail with an eye toward recognizing anomalies.
Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills, working in a structured environment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to document and synthesize a fact pattern and condense it into cogent points.
Ability to make quick, accurate, and situationally appropriate decisions.
Initiative-taker, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve individual and team goals.
Intermediate knowledge of Windows based computers and computing software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical skills with the ability to assess and present quantitative and qualitative data.
