“`Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Truck Drivers to join our team. As a CDL Driver , you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. Transporting skid steer and operation of skid steer to prepare site for manufactured homes placement and access. This position requires a valid driver’s license and dot medical with a strong commitment to safety. The position requires pulling and assisting with the set of the home, includes tasks like identifying, directing, and helping trim trees. The position allows the benefits of driving with your CDL while allowing you to get out of the semi and get hands-on with various task and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Consistently working to help ensure the safe efficient delivery of customers dream home with a team of professionals.
Provide leadership in thinking through the best ways to move and install the home placement.
– Drive trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
– Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
– Ensure that all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts or logbooks, is completed accurately and in a timely manner
– Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and load, report any maintenance issues or concerns
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
– Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area
Qualifications:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Previous experience in route driving & oversize loads.
– Familiarity with different types of trucks and equipment s
– Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
– Knowledge of forklift and skid steer operation
– Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as a team player.
Must have the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems and work as a team. Be dependable and work .
