Document Control Specialist
Southern Synergy, Inc.
Education: Associate Degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
-Assist Designers with preparation and issuance of Design Packages.
– Create & communicate transmittals for Packages.
– Serve as the administrator for the design tools such as BIM 360/AutoDesk software.
– Store and maintain As Built Drawings in BIM360
– Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and quality of documentation
– Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with records management policies and procedures
– Assist in the development and implementation of document control processes
– Perform data entry and data management tasks as needed
– Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors
– Support administrative tasks related to document processing and distribution
Experience: 3-5 years Industrial
– Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in a corporate environment
– Proficiency in using SharePoint or similar document management systems
– Knowledge of records management principles and best practices
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
– Familiarity with quality management systems, AutoCAD and engineering drawings.
– Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications
– Knowledge of Microsoft Word , Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access
