2. About the Opportunity:
The Scheduler Central role is responsible for managing patient scheduling across various systems for multiple departments within the health system. This position ensures accurate patient information, verifies insurance eligibility, and facilitates communication between patients and providers. The role supports efficient access to healthcare services by coordinating appointments and handling incoming calls, contributing to smooth operational workflows.
3. Responsibilities:
• Schedule patients accurately in multiple systems for different departments
• Confirm patient demographics, prescriptions, orders, and insurance information
• Perform mini registration to verify insurance eligibility
• Answer and screen incoming calls for all departments
• Contact patients and providers as necessary to facilitate scheduling
4. Requirements:
• Knowledge of insurance rules and eligibility verification
• Ability to manage multiple scheduling systems
• Strong communication skills for patient and provider interaction
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
