Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Scheduling Coordinator/Student Advocate to join our team at Idaho CDL Training. As the first point of contact for our students, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth scheduling operations. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and passion for providing exceptional service will contribute to the success of our students’ journey toward becoming skilled commercial drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls and inquiries from prospective and current students, providing accurate information and excellent customer service.

Efficiently schedule student training while maintaining an organized and up-to-date calendar.

Collaborate with instructors and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination of schedules and resources.

Maintain student records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Assist in preparing training materials and documents for both students and instructors.

Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation in a timely manner.

Address student concerns and resolve scheduling conflicts with professionalism and empathy.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems to enhance the student experience.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in administration or a related field is a plus.

Proven experience in a customer-facing role with a strong focus on customer service.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and record keeping.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in using computer software and office equipment.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Empathetic and patient demeanor when dealing with student inquiries and concerns.

Prior experience in a scheduling or administrative role is preferred.
