Role Description
This role as an Office Administrative Assistant (Temp to Hire) in Newport Beach, CA, is an on-site position that involves executing general accounting duties such as accounts receivable and payable and journal entries. This role also includes preparing reimbursement requests to various State of California agencies and interfacing with clients, State of California Administrative Staff, and FREY Professional Managers. Additional tasks include the preparation of job lists and payroll packages to outside payroll firms. This role may also include preparing and maintaining various accounting schedules and assisting with special projects as needed. Schedule is 40 hours per week but is flexible.
Qualifications
· Relevant experience in accounting or finance (Recommended)
· Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word (Recommended)
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
